That's funny you should ask! We happen to have a book here in our library called Outwitting Squirrels, by Bill Adler Jr. (We have the second edition: "Revised & Even Craftier.") This might be a good book for you, perhaps from the library or the bookstore. But to tide you over, the book suggests putting a fence around your vegetable garden and coating the fence with petroleum jelly and cayenne (red) pepper, sprinkling red pepper around your vegetables (and spraying with vegetable oil to help it stick), or dried blood, available from garden centers, around the plants.
