Glass houses began popping up in Europe as early as the 13th century, built by well-to-do landowners to showcase exotic plants brought back from warmer climes.

Today, greenhouses have become common additions to gardens and homes, adding functional beauty to the landscape.

Here, greenhouse and toolshed are combined in an innovative building from Kekkilä Garden's Home and Garden Collection.
