In New Zealand, north of Auckland, the Redwoods Treehouse is a pod-shaped tree house hanging 30 feet above the ground. It was commissioned in 2008 as a marketing campaign and now serves as a private venue, available for rent. Corporate or private events can be held in the tree house, with room for up to 30 guests.
