A view of the auto court. Cobble stones with deep grout lines make the occupant very aware of the surface they are walking or driving on through sound and texture. Rough materials define the auto court and then transition to refined materials in the garden court yard.

Once inside the garden courtyard, occupants are forced through the space diagonally. The viewpoint is constantly changing. The journey includes a walk over a pond which reflects the sky, light, and plant materials, enlarging the sense of the space. Edges are crisply delineated with stainless steel and bronze.
