Yet, in spite of the carefully cultivated, garden-chic vignette he created, there’s nothing overly calculated or buttoned-up about the place where Wiberg and his family relax and soak up the summer light. The ease and lightness with which Wiberg approaches outdoor decor is embodied in his habit of repainting the brick wall a different color every two years. Nothing’s static or permanent, this space seems to suggest, and it’s best not to take it too seriously.
