"Expect the Unexpected"
Chicago Flower & Garden Show 2005
March 12-20, 2005
Garden Design brought its pages to life in March at the 11th-annual Chicago Flower and Garden show by designing an idea garden showcasing the latest in products for outdoor living. Adding an ironic twist to the Garden Show's "Eye of Color" theme, Garden Design presented "Expect the Unexpected"...a black and white garden inspired by the 20th-century abstract art. The garden demonstrated high style in outdoor living to tens of thousands of garden and enthusiasts that attended the popular show. Our 2,000 square foot contemporary style garden - was designed by renowned Boston-based landscape architect Marc Mazzarelli and built by the Barn Nursery and Landscape Center - won a prestigious Gold Medal Award in the Horticulture Division.
