Hands down, the most exciting professional experience I’ve had this year was sitting on the Jury for the ASLA Residential Design Awards. I savored every minute of listening to the very best landscape architects judge their colleagues’ efforts—uncensored—and with them looking at hundreds of diverse entries. The winners were just publically announced, and I think you’ll agree, they’re worthy. Here’s a photo of the top winner, the Lakeside Retreat by Richardson & Associates of Saco, Maine.
