Garden Design executive editor Jenny Andrews was in town earlier this month and we accomplished a lot of things in four short days. As much as it sounds like a walk in the park, scouting potential gardens for the pages of Garden Design is work! But on Sunday evening, June 6th, we were able to relax and enjoy a gorgeous garden, say hello to friends old and new, and show our support for the Garden Conservancy.

The celebration recognized 10 years of Open Days Gardens in Los Angeles County - a wonderful accomplishment.

Held at the classic home and garden of interior designer Susanne Rheinstein of Hollyhock and her husband Frederic, the event drew about 75 supporters and friends. We were served yummy cocktails and tasty hors d'oeuvres, which we happily consumed while touring Susanne and Frederic's Hancock Park landscape.
